Stephanie Wise Phillips, LISW
Stephanie Wise Phillips, LISW, earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky and has been practicing clinical social work, first in Kentucky and now in Ohio, for the past thirteen years. She has worked with clients from all different backgrounds and age groups, but now exclusively works with adults and has experience with treating a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety and depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and adjustment and trauma-related issues. She is trained in a variety of modalities, with two of her favorite interventions being Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with a mindfulness base and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Stephanie especially enjoys supporting people of all genders who are struggling with reproductive health-related mental health concerns, whether those stem from difficulties with fertility, mental health needs surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, or challenges with pregnancy loss and termination.
Additionally, Stephanie has a special focus and specialized training in helping those who have challenges with spiritual abuse or religious trauma.
Stephanie is available to see clients via telehealth and in-person appointments.
